Things that Jada Promotion will not do for you:
* Promise to send out hundreds, or even thousands, of press releases to newspapers that you will
never see and can never be assured that they were sent out.
* Make promises to clients that their book is the absolute best there is and will reap great profits.
* We will not make an attempt to impress you with employees who hold degrees in subjects that
have no relation to the book business whatsoever.
* We will not take as many authors as we can get because our desire is not to have a long list of
authors and send out the same, non-related, mass mailings for each of them.
* We will not seek reviews from other authors unless they are well-known in your profession
(and related to the theme of your book) or well-known in the publishing industry.
* We will not constantly bombard you with "extras" such as purchasing business cards,
post cards or press kits from us.
* We will not, unless it is your desire, have interested parties purchase your books directly
from you. This is time-consuming for an author and many do not have the time, or the desire to
handle the record-keeping, the packing and the mailing.
Things that Jada Promotion will do for you:
* Design an individualized marketing program that meets the type book/books you have written
with direction toward the customized program of marketing you want for your work, depending
on your timeframe, experience and desires.
* Send press releases to the sources appropriate for the type of book you have written, newspapers
of your choice and newspapers in you locale, as well as those that the company deems receptive
to your book.
* No one can promise the success of any book. We will; however, assure you that every effort will be
made to promote you, as the author, and your work, by gearing your desires of exposure to the
type promotion you want and the type we believe your work will pofit from.
* We will try to impress you with the knowledge that Jada Promotion has gained during a period
of over 12 years in the business with "on hand" experience. This experience ranges from
founding a state- wide writer's association that now boasts more than 600 members, which gave
us a real feeling for the type of individualized exposure that each author needs, having an author
as the Marketing Director who knows the "ins and outs" of being an author and experience in
owning a successful publishing house.
* We will place ads in the top publishing magazines, as well as those that are directly connected
to either your experience as an individual, an author, or the theme of your book.
* We will prepare professional press kits for you, and keep a supply of your books in our inventory,
to send out for reviews and other interested parties that we have made contact with regarding
your work. This is at no extra charge to you.
* We will suggest that interested parties purchase books from the Jada Promotion Book Store, thus relieving you of this chore. Royalties at 100%, less shipping and handling, will be paid to our clients
every 90 days and copies of invoices from those who have ordered your books from our Book Store will accompany the payment.
* We will have, for authors who are interested in doing some of their own promotion, a Jada Promotion, online eGroup, where promotional information will be posted regularly.
